Rare double waterspout tornado strikes Sicily, injuring at least 10 people
A rare double waterspout formed off the coast near Marsala in western Sicily on Friday, October 9, before moving inland as a tornado and causing significant damage to buildings, vehicles, and farmland in Marsala and Petrosino. At least 10 people, including five children, were hospitalized with injuries.
