Circle defends USDC economics, reveals 7 cents profit per dollar
Circle disclosed that for the first half of 2026 it retained just 7 cents of net profit for every dollar in revenue, with $819 million of $1.4 billion going to distribution and operations. The disclosure comes as rival stablecoin issuers court Circle's partners with larger revenue shares.
