Federal judge blocks Ohio proof-of-citizenship requirement for voter registration

A federal judge has blocked enforcement of an Ohio law requiring residents to produce documentary proof of citizenship when registering to vote at Bureau of Motor Vehicles offices, ruling it conflicts with the federal National Voter Registration Act.
