Greek soldiers among nine suspects in $8 million cryptocurrency pyramid scheme
Nine suspects, including two Greek servicemen accused of leadership roles, appeared before an investigating magistrate in northern Greece following the alleged operation of a cryptocurrency pyramid scheme that defrauded approximately 10,000 investors of $8 million. The scheme required entry fees starting at €800, with VIP investors paying €5,000 on promises their money would double.
