Israel claims control of strategic Ali Taher ridge in southern Lebanon
Israel announced it has seized the Ali Taher ridge in southern Lebanon from Hezbollah, clearing tunnels beneath the strategically located hill approximately 10 kilometers from the border. Hezbollah dismissed the claim as an electoral ploy by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, while Israel expanded bombing campaigns beyond its declared security zone.
