Anthropic reports Houthi militants used Claude AI to develop missile guidance systems
Anthropic disclosed that a group in northern Yemen, where Iran-backed Houthi militants operate, used its Claude AI model to support development of missile and rocket navigation, control, and guidance software. The company blocked the attempts and released a threat intelligence report detailing the incident.
