EU plans major expansion of Russia sanctions, including country-wide crypto bans
The European Union is preparing to significantly expand sanctions against Russia in the coming months, including measures targeting 14 foreign crypto service platforms and introducing country-level transaction bans that could cut EU operators off from crypto providers suspected of sanctions evasion, according to EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas.
