EU imposes sanctions on nearly 1,600 Russian entities in largest expansion since invasion
EU foreign ministers approved almost 1,600 new sanctions targeting Russia's military-industrial complex, with more than half connected to ballistic missile production chains. EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas called it the single largest expansion of the sanctions list since Russia started its war against Ukraine.
