Dexcom G7 study shows continuous glucose monitoring benefits type 2 diabetes patients not on insulin
A landmark study published in The New England Journal of Medicine found that continuous glucose monitoring devices benefit all type 2 diabetes patients, including those not taking insulin, with users achieving lower HbA1c levels and spending approximately 5 more hours per day in target glucose range. The Dexcom CONNECT study marks the first standalone real-time CGM clinical data published in NEJM in nearly two decades.
