Massachusetts approves regulations strengthening nursing home oversight
The Massachusetts Public Health Council approved new regulations designed to strengthen oversight of long-term care facilities and prevent irresponsible nursing home owners from putting residents at risk. The rules implement authority granted under a 2024 law.
