National Guard member shot while breaking up fight in Washington DC, suspect wounded in return fire
A National Guard member was shot in the leg late Sunday night while attempting to break up a fight in southeast Washington's Eastern Market neighborhood. The suspected shooter was also wounded when guard members returned fire, and both individuals were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
