Microsoft develops machine learning tool to improve weather forecasts up to 6 weeks ahead
Microsoft researchers have developed a machine learning framework called Probabilistic Bias Correction that corrects weather forecast errors 2 to 6 weeks in advance, extending reliable extreme weather prediction beyond the typical two-week limit of traditional physics-based and AI weather models.
