Justice Department sues Maryland over law banning masks for federal agents
The Justice Department filed a lawsuit against Maryland and two of its largest counties on Thursday, the same day a new state law took effect that bars federal law enforcement officers from wearing masks and requires them to identify themselves while on duty. The complaint argues the law interferes with federal operations.
