Trezor cuts reseller network following Ledger supply chain attack
Hardware wallet manufacturer Trezor announced it will reduce its number of authorized resellers starting January 1, 2027, following a supply-chain incident in which competitor Ledger discovered malicious implants in wallets sold by a Southeast Asian retailer that stole users' recovery phrases. Trezor stated the move is preventive and that it has no evidence its own devices were compromised.
