Wintermute plans $1 billion AI investment beyond crypto
Crypto market maker Wintermute announced plans to invest $1 billion over five years in high-frequency trading and AI infrastructure to expand beyond cryptocurrency markets. The firm reported institutional clients contributed a record 72% of its spot OTC trading volume in H1 2026.
