UNCTAD forecasts global growth to slow to 2.6% in 2026 as developing economies decelerate
The UN Conference on Trade and Development projects global economic growth will slow to 2.6% in 2026 from 2.9% in 2025, with developing economies expected to grow 4% compared to 4.7% last year. The Trade and Development Report 2026 indicates that market access increasingly depends on technology, finance and geopolitics, even as global trade in goods and services is expected to expand by about 4%.
