US ends $45 million annual HIV program support for Namibia after two decades
The Trump administration announced it will phase out financial support for Namibia's HIV response programs after more than 20 years and $1.1 billion in total aid. The U.S. will provide a final $45 million payment in fiscal year 2027, after which Namibia will fund its own programs.
