Solana sets October 21 for Alpenglow upgrade targeting 150ms finality
Solana announced implementation of its Alpenglow upgrade on October 21, 2026. The upgrade will replace Solana's existing validator voting system, remove vote transactions from blocks, and target 150-millisecond finality.
