House censures Rep. Chuck Edwards for inappropriate conduct toward female staffers
The House voted 413-2 to censure Rep. Chuck Edwards, R-N.C., after an Ethics Committee investigation found he engaged in persistent unprofessional and inappropriate conduct toward two young female staffers, including unwanted advances, late-night texts, and lavish gifts that prompted them to quit his office. Edwards apologized to his wife and family on the House floor.
