Polygon Labs completes Coinme acquisition, gaining money transmitter licenses across 48 US states
Polygon Labs has completed its acquisition of Coinme, obtaining 37 state money transmitter licenses and 11 exemptions that will be integrated into its Open Money Stack platform. The deal, originally announced in January 2026 with a target closure in Q2, provides regulated payments coverage across 48 US states and has attracted early customers including Tazapay, Mesh, Toku, and Kira.
