Singapore General Hospital neurosurgery head investigated for failing to report patient death to coroner
Dr Jai Prashanth Rao, head of neurosurgery at Singapore General Hospital's National Neuroscience Institute, is under investigation for failing to report a patient's death to the coroner as required under the Coroners Act. He stated he mistakenly believed he had discretion in reporting the case and wanted to show compassion to the patient's family.
