Chuck Schumer urges FCC to reject Club for Growth petition for AI political robocalls
Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer called on the Federal Communications Commission to deny a petition from conservative group Club for Growth seeking to allow AI-generated political robocalls ahead of the November congressional elections. The petition would ease current restrictions on unsolicited political robocalls to cellphones.
