Lawsuit seeks to force OPM to update reservist pay guidance after 2025 Supreme Court ruling
A lawsuit has been filed to compel the Office of Personnel Management to issue new guidance reflecting a 2025 Supreme Court decision that eliminated the requirement for federal employee military reservists to prove active duty deployments are "substantially connected" to a national emergency. OPM has not updated its policy in the 15 months since the ruling.
