National Crime Agency seizes 25 inflatable boats destined for people smugglers at East Midlands Airport
The National Crime Agency has confiscated 25 inflatable vessels at East Midlands Airport that were destined for cross-Channel people-smuggling networks. The boats were intercepted in an air cargo shipment traveling from Turkey to the Netherlands, with capacity to carry up to 1,700 people in total.
