Iran parliament passes bill criminalizing interviews with hostile foreign media
Iran's parliament voted 174 to six to ban Iranian nationals from giving interviews to media outlets designated as hostile by the Intelligence Ministry, with penalties including up to two years in prison, fines and flogging. The bill, which passed despite cabinet opposition, has not yet become law and faces Guardian Council review.
