Blood pressure variability linked to higher death and stroke risk in UK Biobank study
Analysis of more than 57,000 UK Biobank participants found that greater variation in blood pressure measurements between research visits was associated with increased risk of death, with some blood pressure measures also linked to stroke risk. The findings were presented at the European Association for the Study of Diabetes annual meeting.
