Record rainfall causes deadly flooding near Tokyo, killing at least 8 and forcing mass evacuations
Record-breaking rainfall has caused severe flooding in Chiba prefecture east of Tokyo, killing at least 5-8 people and forcing the evacuation of approximately 230,000 residents. The flooding has stranded travelers and submerged roads across the region.
