Qualcomm strikes AI chip deal with Amazon worth up to $60 billion
Qualcomm announced a long-term partnership with Amazon Web Services to supply up to $60 billion worth of AI data center chips and related products. As part of the deal, Amazon received warrants to purchase approximately $4 billion in Qualcomm stock, marking Qualcomm's first major Western hyperscaler customer as it challenges Nvidia in AI infrastructure.
