Judge orders Trump administration to release memo justifying Pentagon boat strikes
U.S. District Judge Paul Engelmayer ruled that the Trump administration must turn over a Department of Justice memo that legally authorizes the Pentagon's lethal boat strikes targeting drug traffickers in the Caribbean and Pacific Ocean. The judge rejected two of the administration's three arguments for withholding the document under a FOIA request.
