Bradley Creek wildfire destroys 230 homes in Okanagan Indian Band community near Vernon, B.C.
A fast-moving wildfire devastated an Indigenous community in western Canada, destroying approximately 230 homes along Okanagan Lake near Vernon, British Columbia. The chief of the Okanagan Indian Band described the reserve as looking like a 'war zone' following the destruction.
