Digital Asset Adds Shinhan Financial Group and SC Ventures to Oversubscribed Funding Round

Digital Asset, creator of the Canton blockchain network, announced that South Korea's Shinhan Financial Group and Standard Chartered's SC Ventures had joined its previously announced oversubscribed $355 million funding round. The Block reported, citing a source with direct knowledge of the matter, that the investments added $10 million, bringing the round to $365 million at the same $2 billion equity valuation.
