Merck CEO says cancer vaccine with Moderna will become faster to manufacture

Merck CEO Rob Davis said he expects the personalized cancer vaccine being developed with Moderna to have a shortened production timeline from its current six-week manufacturing period. The announcement comes after the companies reported promising late-stage trial results in August for the mRNA vaccine combined with immunotherapy for melanoma.
