Relativity Networks raises $22 million for air-core fiber optic technology for data centers

Orlando-based startup Relativity Networks has raised $22 million in SAFE notes from Rhapsody Venture Partners and Bell Ventures to develop faster air-core fiber optic technology for data centers, and has secured a $40 million order from a hyperscaler customer. The technology aims to address data synchronization bottlenecks between distant AI facilities by transmitting light through air rather than traditional glass-core fiber.

Delta flight 2204 makes emergency landing in Atlanta after fumes reported in cockpit; over 200 passengers evacuated

A Delta Air Lines flight bound for Orlando returned to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport shortly after takeoff Saturday morning after crew reported fumes in the cockpit. More than 200 passengers were evacuated via emergency slides on the taxiway.
