EU Regulator Backs First Oral IL-23 Receptor Drug for Plaque Psoriasis
The European Medicines Agency has recommended granting marketing authorization for Icotyde (icotrokinra), the first oral medication targeting the interleukin-23 receptor, for treating moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older in the European Union.
