Half of displaced children in southwest Somalia acutely malnourished as funding drops 80%

Médecins Sans Frontières reports that one in two children screened in displacement sites in Baidoa, southwest Somalia, are acutely malnourished, with one in four severely malnourished. The crisis has been exacerbated by an 80% drop in funding for malnutrition response programs this year, alongside ongoing drought and conflict.
