HHS & VA Partner to Advance Psychedelic Therapies for Veterans

HHS and the VA signed a five-year Memorandum of Understanding on July 13, 2026, to collaborate on research, clinical development, and deployment of rapid-acting psychedelic drug products for veterans with serious mental illness and substance use disorders, pending FDA approval.
