China plans fourfold expansion of AI computing capacity by 2030, building data centers in remote cities
China announced plans to deploy AI computing clusters with 100,000 accelerator cards and quadruple its intelligent computing capacity by 2030. The country is constructing major data centers in remote locations like Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia, far from its largest urban centers.
