Albuquerque bans Bitcoin ATMs, giving operators 45 days to remove them
The Albuquerque city council passed an ordinance on September 10 banning cryptocurrency kiosks and cashier-facilitated virtual currency transactions, making it one of the first major U.S. cities to outright prohibit crypto ATMs. Operators have 45 days to comply with the new regulation.
