Coinbase to Migrate Institutional Derivatives Business to Deribit on September 9
Coinbase will consolidate its International Exchange institutional derivatives operations onto Deribit on September 9, 2026, following its $2.9 billion acquisition of the platform. The migration will force-settle existing positions and require clients to update APIs and close margin loans ahead of the transition.
