Drug-Resistant Gonorrhoea Spreading Across Europe, ECDC Warns

The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control has issued a warning that gonorrhoea strains resistant to ceftriaxone, the first-line antibiotic treatment, are increasingly being detected across European countries and are now spreading person-to-person within Europe rather than being imported cases.
