Trezor warns of suspected hardware implant in Safe 5 wallet sold by CryptoBilis reseller
Hardware wallet maker Trezor has received credible reports of a suspected crypto-theft hardware implant in a Trezor Safe 5 device sold by its Southeast Asian reseller CryptoBilis. The tampered wallet allegedly contains an extra circuit board designed to transmit recovery phrases, though no asset theft cases have been reported yet.
