Bayeux Tapestry ticket sales cause nine-hour online queues as British Museum prepares first UK exhibition
Tens of thousands of people faced online queues of up to nine hours when tickets went on sale for the Bayeux Tapestry's first-ever exhibition on British soil at the British Museum. More than 75,000 people attempted to secure tickets for the historic wool-on-linen artwork.
