Google releases Gemini 3.7 Flash for coding and agent workflows

Google released Gemini 3.7 Flash, a new Flash-series model positioned for software engineering, knowledge work, web development, and AI agents.

▪Google says Gemini 3.7 Flash is available through the Gemini API, AI Studio, and Gemini Enterprise, while Gemini Spark is using it for Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers in more than 160 countries.
▪Google reports that Gemini 3.7 Flash improved over 3.6 Flash on selected evaluations, including FrontierCode 1.1 Main (43.6% versus 34.4%), DeepSWE v1.1 (65.3% versus 49.0%), WebDev Arena (1588 versus 1538 Elo), GDP.pdf (34.0% versus 22.0%), and AutomationBench (30.4% versus 17.0%).
▪Google announced Gemini 3.7 Flash on August 13, 2026 as a workhorse model for coding and AI agents, three weeks after Gemini 3.6 Flash.
