Northwestern Medicine develops liquid biopsy blood test for small cell lung cancer
Northwestern Medicine scientists have demonstrated a novel liquid biopsy technique that can measure cancer burden and reveal molecular characteristics of small cell lung cancer, according to a study published in the Journal of Clinical Investigation. The approach could eventually allow for better tracking and monitoring of this aggressive cancer type.
