UNESCO Adds China's Jingdezhen Handicraft Porcelain Industry Sites to World Heritage List
The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) inscribed the Jingdezhen Handicraft Porcelain Industry Sites in China as a World Heritage Site during the 48th session of the World Heritage Committee in Busan, South Korea on July 25, 2026. Tencent announced digital initiatives using AI and gaming technology to help preserve and promote the ancient porcelain tradition.
