Chicago woman shot by Border Patrol agent Charles Exum sues Trump administration
Marimar Martinez filed a federal lawsuit against the government one year after being shot five times by Customs and Border Protection agent Charles Exum during an immigration operation in Chicago on October 4, 2025. Her attorneys claim new ballistic analysis shows Exum fired from behind her vehicle, contradicting his account that he was in front of it.
