Stablecoin issuer Tether Holdings led a $1.4 billion Series C funding round for German startup Neura Robotics, which develops AI-powered humanoid robots. The round also included participation from Qualcomm, Nvidia, and Amazon, marking one of the largest investments in physical AI and humanoid robotics to date.
Nvidia unveiled the RTX Spark chip for personal computers and partnered with Microsoft to launch the Surface Ultra laptop, marking Nvidia's entry as a complete PC chipmaker competing with Intel, AMD, and Qualcomm.
According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, OpenAI is working with MediaTek and Qualcomm on custom smartphone processors, with Luxshare as exclusive partner for system design and manufacturing, with potential mass production in 2028.
