BlackRock cuts bitcoin ETF swap minimum to $1 million

BlackRock lowered the minimum bitcoin required for direct conversion into its iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) ETF shares from $25 million to $1 million in July 2026. The firm has processed over $5 billion in direct bitcoin-to-ETF conversions, while competitor Bitwise also reduced its threshold from $100 million to $3 million.
