Bitwise has filed a second amendment to its Hyperliquid ETF application with U.S. regulators, adding Wintermute and Flowdesk as trading counterparties to the proposed fund. The amendment comes just one day after Bitwise Europe launched a physically-backed Hyperliquid staking ETP on Deutsche Börse Xetra, marking the company's expansion into European crypto investment products. The addition of established market makers like Wintermute and Flowdesk strengthens the ETF application by providing liquidity infrastructure for the proposed fund. Hyperliquid, a decentralized finance protocol, is now the subject of both U.S. ETF regulatory filings and European exchange-traded products, reflecting growing institutional interest in DeFi assets.
