The US Department of Homeland Security has enacted its largest-ever expansion of the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act Entity List, banning imports from 43 additional Chinese firms starting August 3, 2026. This first expansion under the Trump administration brings the blacklist total to 187 entities. Prominent additions include Hunan Aihua Group and Chacha Food Co. While US officials state the measures protect domestic workers from unfair competition, Beijing has rejected the allegations as lies and economic coercion.
